Ex: A pain after hitting your elbow.

Ex: Problem solving

A developmental psychologist that had the theory of multiple intelligence. The eight multiple intelligences are logical-mathematics, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, linguistic, musical, interpersonal, naturalistic.

People with this personality trait typically like to work alone and like to focus on one task at a time.
Ex: When a student is given the choice of working alone or in a group they would work alone.

People with this personality trait typically like to make plans, be organized, and follow and make rules.
Ex: When working on a project they would plan all the events out and follow the plans strictly.

is for Kagan, Jerome

Kagan had the theory that the autonomic nervous system influences our temperament and behavior, which defines our personality.

A hallucinogenic drug that mimics serotonin and can create a near death experience when taken.

is for Myelin Sheath

It covers the axon, the longest part of a neuron and allows the axon impulses to quicken.
Ex: Diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis eat away at the myelin sheath.

He discovered that humans are born with the ability to learn language as a child.

is for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Continuous, unwanted thoughts that cause you to engage in a particular action because you feel the need to do so.
Ex: Needing to do everything three times.

is for Pupil

Where light enters the eye and the size of the pupil is controlled by the iris.
Ex: When there is a lot of light the iris shrinks the pupil and when there is little light the iris opens the pupil.
