Today was a very special day. It was my first day of second grade! I had put on my best shirt and brought all of my favorite pencils, but I was very scared and nervous.

Achondroplasia

That's because my Mommy told me I have Achondroplasia, also known as dwarfism. It's diagnosed 1 in 40,000 people, making it really rare!

Achondroplasia changes how my bones grow and develop, making them, as well as myself, much smaller. Even if I'm a lot smaller than everyone else, I see this as my superpower!
