What can you see in the sea?

There are so many things you can see in the sea.

You can see seaweed?

Most seaweed is green but you can also find brown seaweed and red seaweed.

Did you know you that you can eat seaweed. Many people eat seaweed in sushi.

You can see Starfish!

Did you know that starfish walk by using little sticky legs under their body.

Did you know that some starfish can have more then five legs.

Some starfish can have as many as 15 arms.

You can see sea shells!

Did you know that many crabs and snails live in these shells?



They use their shells to protect themselves from other sea creatures that would want to eat them.

You can see Jellyfish

Jellyfish can be many different colours

But they can sting you with their tentacles.

You can see fish

There are many different kinds of fish but all of them have gills to breath with under the sea.

Some fish are very good at hiding because they blend in with their environment.

You can see Octopus!

An octopus has 8 legs and on his 8 legs he has many suckers that they use to move around and grab hold of things with.

They also change colour to blend in to what is around them.

You can see a Shark

Sharks have lots of teeth to catch fish to eat and to protect them from other sharks.

Sharks also have gills to breath under water
