Leah Fox is a young girl, about 12 years old. Her parents died in a car crash last year so she lives with her aunt. one morning Leah decided to run away from her Aunt Jean with her little dog Vixi. She runs as far as she can only to find herself alone, in a huge forest.

Leah was in the forest for 3 years with little water and food. On her 15th birthday, she saw something in the sky. It looked like a little human! When the little human hit the ground, Leah was confused. "I am Melody, your fairy godmother!" said Melody "I am here to tell you some very important news!" Melody said in her high pitched voice. "You are the village princess!" Leah couldn't believe it! All she thought was "I'm not going back to that village!"

The fairy godmother said "Go back to your village and stay with Auntie Jean, or come with me and be the princess." Of course Leah chose to go with Melody. They landed at a bridge. Leah swore she could hear snoring. Melody said some weird things. Dodoma Sodik Mola Camisa. Those words stopped the snoring. A big fat hairy troll was awakened. Leah was frightened. The troll said "Me name is Slimefisher, who is this young lad Melody?" "She is Leah Fox, princess of Astelton Village." "Ok, yous can pass me bridge." said the troll. The troll fell back asleep

They crossed the bridge and found a pond. The pond was filled with mermaids. One mermaid popped out her head and said. "Ah, hello Melody, you'd like to get across the pond I see. First I'll need to know name of this kid."Hello Reetopi, this is no kid, this is Princess Leah Fox of the Astelton village." snapped Melody "Very well then, you may pass" Reetopi spoke and then swam with the other mermaids.
