"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."

- Matthew 5:9

Karen and the Dragon is based off this beatitude. The seventh beatitude takes every resembles the task resolving conflict. Conflicts arise whenever people have differences of opinion. In this story, the town and the dragon disliked each other. The town exploited and also feared the dragon while the dragon was hurt from the lack of respect received from the town. Between the two, the tendency is to ignore or to suppress the conflict though it is aware that this never seems to solve the problem. In God's kingdom, it is a blessing to bring people together who are in conflict. Only then is it possible to resolve the conflict and restore the relationships. These are the actions that Karen carries out, bringing the two together despite their history and differences. Therefore Karen creates peace between the two, following the god's law of love and compassion to your neighbour.
