Halloween is a time for stories 

of ghosts and goblins. For 

mummies and monster and 

things that go bump in the 

night. Everyone enjoys a good 

Halloween story, but the 

special thing about this story is 

that it is true!

And it took place right here in 

your town....

It all started on a dark October 

night many years ago...

John and Jill were on their way 

home from their grandparents 

house when they spotted a 

strange looking house they had 

never noticed before...

They entered the house and 

found a dark and creepy stair 

case.

"Let's check it out" said John 

with a grin, but Jill wasn't so 

sure.

"Ive got a bad feeling about this 

place" she said. 

When they reached the top of 

the stairs they found a long 

hallway. Jill wanted to hang 

back but John just said "Don't 

be a scaredy cat!" 

When they reached the end of 

the hallway all seemed quiet 

until a ghost appeared out of 

thin air! 

"AHHHHH!!!!" screamed John 

and ran off down the hall.
