Emma, who was seven years old, had twelve dolls that she cared very deeply for. They would never leave her sight, and if they did, she would throw a tantrum until they were found again. These dolls were highly valuable to Emma. They were a gift from her loving grandmother.
One sunny and bright day, Emma was playing with
her dolls, as usual, when she heard a knock on the door. She ran to the door and asked, “Who is it?”. Another
voice said, “It’s Adam. Do you want to go to the park with me?” he asked.

Emma wanted to play with her dolls, but she
also wanted to go to the park with Adam. After a moment, she told Adam, “Okay. Let’s go to the park!”. She’d always have time to play with her dolls.

ONLY ELEVEN!

After she came back, she planned to play with her dolls again. But there was a problem. When she went to get her twelve dolls from the drawer, one of them was missing! Emma looked all around for her lost doll. She looked under the bed, under the table and everywhere she could reach. There was no sign of the doll. She started to cry and shout. She wanted to find her doll.

What's wrong?
It was the only thing she wanted. Emma’s dad came out as soon as he heard Emma. He asked Emma, "Darling, what’s wrong?”. “I can’t find one of my dolls dad! Can you help me look for it?” She asked her father. “Emma, I placed that doll on top of the bookshelf because it fell out of the drawer.” Emma’s dad replied. “Really?” Emma asked slowly. “Yes.” Her dad said with a soft smile.
