Lucy Monroe was an adventrous little girl who wanted to be an architect when she grew up. One day Lucy and her family decided to go to Athens, Greece. Before they left they put in the coordinates in their GPS for Athens, Greece which is 37. 9838 degrees N and 23.7275 degrees E. After hours of driving Lucy and her family finally arrived in Athens, Greece.

After the Monroe family had settled in at the hotel they decided to go on a tour of Athens, Greece. When they arrived for the tour they were greeted by the tour guide whose name was Trey. Trey talked about the history of Greece and places to see while staying in Greece. Lucy asked, " What else do you know about Greece". Trey responded with " Well, did you know that Greece is positioned in both the northern and eastern hemispheres and is located in the southeastern region of the European Continent.

The next day Lucy had decided that she had wanted to see everything in Greece. Later that afternoon Lucy went to Mount Olympus, Gyali and the Thriasian Plain and took pictures of everything that she saw that day so she could show her friends back home everything that she did that summer. After a long day of traveling Lucy decided to head back to the hotel and get some sleep so she would be ready for another adventure tomorrow.

Lucy was so excited to go on another adventure. She jumped out of bed and ran down to eat breakfast. After the Monroe family was finished they got in their car and headed to see some of the human characteristics Greece had to offer. The first stop they made was the Rion-Antirion Bridge which Lucy learned is one of the world's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges. The next stop they made was Amalias Avenue which Lucy had read was named after King Otto and his wife Queen Amalia. The last stop they made was to learn about the ancient Triremes Boats that Greeks had used.

That night the Monroe family decided to go out to see the town and have dinner. They went to a place called the Aleria Restaurant. When deciding what to order Lucy had decided that she wanted to order something that she has never tried before. Lucy ordered Spanakopita which is a spinach pie with Greek feta cheese. When the food came Lucy tried her dish and loved it so much she had decided it was her new favorite food.

After dinner the Monroe family took a stroll through Athens, Greece. As they were walking they saw many restaurants along each side of the street, lights strung from stores and people dancing in the road. The people were dancing to Greek traditional music and Byzantine music. Lucy decided to join them and ended up dancing with them for hour.

The next morning Lucy decided she wanted to learn more about the history of Greece. She decided to go to the nearest library she could find. When she arrived at the library she went to find some books with Greece's history. After looking through several books Lucy had learned that migration in Greece is a huge problem. The article she found said that last month nearly 10,000 migrants came to Greece and a couple of years ago 210,000 migrants came.
