This is the Ohio River Valley. It includes the entire area drained by the Ohio River and its tributaries.

My home country, Great Britain, wants to claim this land. It has wonderful, fertile land and good water sources, but we really need it because we're getting too crowded in the existing colonies.

We won! The war is over and the Treaty of Paris has been signed. The treaty is a document stating that Great Britain possesses ownership of the Ohio River Valley and some French territory to the north! This should solve so many problems for us colonists because we can spread out now, and alleviate some of the crowding.

I can't believe this. I have never been so outraged in my life! The Stamp Act requires us to pay taxes on paper! I can't even send a letter without paying extra. I must cut back on writing so much, or I'll be bankrupt by Christmas.

This is outrageous. I have to let soldiers stay in my town? I didn't even ask for them to come here. They're all over town, crowding the streets and it's awful! Life here in the colonies grows more oppressive each day. Something had better change, and soon.
