There are many people that help us in our community everyday! Some people you may not notice everyday but they play a big part in helping make our lives easier.

This person helps us have fresh food for us to eat. They grow the food and give it to grocery stores for us to buy! Who do you think this is? It is a farmer!

This person helps you when you are sick. They give you medicine, put bandages on you, and can even do surgery! Who is this person? It is a doctor!

This person is with you in school, and they help you learn. He or she is so excited to see you everyday, and teaches you new things. Who is this person? It is a teacher!

This person helps us if something catches on fire! They use huge hoses to help put the fire out and make sure everyone is safe. Who is this person? This person is a firefighter!

This person delivers your mail to your house, to an office, or to a school! They make sure all the right mail goes to the right person, and put it in your mailbox. Who is this person? This person is the mailman!

This person helps keep us safe in our community. They help keep us safe on the road when we are is driving, if something happens in our house we can call them too! Who is this person? This person is a policeman!
