Slovakia
It wasn't just an ordinary bus - it was tuned with some magic. It could fly, drive itself, make a rainbow and even talk! The bus decided that it would go on a trip around different countries and it would start in Slovakia. The bus made some research and decided to go to the most beautiful city in Slovakia - Košice. The bus heard that near there is one great school with amazing students. So it went to Družstevná pri Hornáde. There, the bus met Italia - a mascot from Italy who was on her visit there. They became friends immediately and they went to High Tatras.
They met a shepherd named Jožko. He told them what he does for a living. He takes care of sheep, milk sheep, cut sheep's wool. He also made them typical Slovak food - potato pasta with cottage cheese. They liked it and ate whole bowl! They decided that they want to know about different jobs, people and countries and they continued on their journey...
The Netherlands
The magic bus took us to Bernardinuscollege in Heerlen. Wow, what a beautiful school this is! Many proud pupils were there at our arrival and they took us with them to a cheese farm. The farmer told us all about cheese. To make cheese you need cows and their milk. The farmer showed us his land and we even helped milking the cows.
After visiting the cheese farm we went to a little town called Volendam.
A typical Dutch town where you can eat fish, wear traditional clothing (take your picture with it - click), say cheese and eat cheese.
Look at the photo and see our wooden shoes!!!!!
We also bought nice Tulips, Dutch flowers, to give our friends from the Magic bus story, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Spain and Turkey!
After seeing Volendam we were really hungry so the magic bus took us back flying over the beautiful landscapes of the Netherlands. It is a very flat country!! There aren't any mountains! That is why they like to cycle so much!
Oh yes, we were hungry....
A typical Dutch dish is eating mashed potatoes with vegetables mixed up together. As meat they eat sausages or mini meatballs with gravy and applesauce, yummy!!!
The end of the day was actually the best part! We saw Ajax play at the Johan Cruyff Arena!!!
Wow!!! They won the match 4-1. We got autographs from Ziyech, van de Beek and Tadic. Oh what a night!
After a very emotional night the magic bus decided to have some rest and took all passengers to a peaceful country called Poland. The bus went through beautiful cities, forests, mountains anf finnaly arrived to Częstochowa, a famous city in the south of Poland.
All passengers were very hungry and they decided to eat typical Polish food. They went to a restaurant and ordered pierogi (dumplings), bigos ( sour cabbage with meat and mushrooms), kotlet schabowy and makowiec( poppyseed cake).
In the restaurat they met nice people. All together had a good time and decided to have some sightseeing.
In the morning everything has changed. They heard in the radio that they have to stay in a hotel, wear masks and gloves and can't meet other people. They were very sad. But nothing is impossible for the magic bus team. They always find a soulution so they decided to see the most ineresting places in Poland in the Inernet. They started seaching immediately and found thousands of sights.
The Jura upland famous for its castles, caves and mines.
Warsaw and Cracow.
Mazury lakes and Tatra mountains
and many other which they are going to see during next visit in Poland.
TURKEY
Magic bus finally came to Turkey. They started from Istanbul and there; They visited Maiden's Tower, Galata Tower, Basilica Cistern, Yıldız Cistern, Spice Bazaar. Then they went to Ankara where is the capital of Turkey. There they visited Anıtkabir, Ankara Castle, Atatürk Forest Farm. They ate Ankara honey and Ankara doner in Ankara and they got very tired but it was worth it because they were so admired.
After that, they went to Şanlıurfa. Here, they visited Göbeklitepe, a cult center dating back 12000 years, and from there they went to Şanlıurfa's most popular lake, Balıklı Gol. They listened to the story of the Balıklı Gol and were very impressed. While walking down the street, the magic bus was very tired and very hungry. They ate Cig Kofte (raw meatballs) and kebab, the most famous food there. Then, they continued on their way. From there, they went to the Sümela Monastery in Trabzon, which is very important for Christianity. They listened to mysterious stories of historical places.
After visiting Turkey the mascot Italia and Magic Bus arrived in Italy. They visited the capital Rome and its most important monument: the Colosseum.
The Colosseum is an iconic monument with the largest amphitheater ever built that the whole world Knows. It is also called the Flavian Ampitheater and it is situated in the center of Rome. Built under the Flavian Dynasty, its construction started in 72 AD and was completed in 80 AD. Built in concrete and sand, the Colosseum could hold up to 80,000 people, though it usually held 65,000.
