Signs would be tingly hands and feet, swollen gums, and infections or sores that don't heal. Diabetes can effect your nerves in either your hands or feet. Diabetes also effects your gums and infects them. Lastly, when your sugar levels are high slows down your blood flow. It'll take time for the wound to heal.
