Boy: and the first thing we have to do is list and label the a b c. a= 2 b=3 c= -14. Next we have to multiply a and c which will give us -28 and after that we have to find the factors of -28 and choose the factors that will add up to be b (3). The chosen factors are 7 and -4. Since a isn't equal to 1 we'll have to divide both 7 and -4 by 2. By doing that we have (x=7/2) & (x=2) and since there's a fraction we multiply that by 2.
