her daddy was sick and her mom
had passed a year or so back.

Evelyn walked into her fathers room, "Daddy will you come outside
with me and play?", her father sighed, "Honey I am not feeling up to
it right now." Evelyn turned to leave the room, her father never
played with her anymore.
