My Life as Izzy

I dedicate my book to my cat, Izzy.

I was born in the basement of a hoarders house. The house I started off in was not a safe place for me to be in. All of my brothers and sisters were sick besides me.

I was about two months old when I met my forever family. They saved my life because all of the cats sicknesses were starting to spread and had not gotten to me yet. Little did I know that I was in for a big surprise when I got home.

When I got home I met my partner in crime. His name was Tigger and we did everything together. I followed him everywhere and copied everything he did which is why my family calls me a copy cat.

I was really living my best life with my new family. I would sleep all day, which is my favorite thing to do. I like to sleep in tight places and in places I am not supposed to be, like on clean clothes.

I knew the time was coming where I was going to lose my best friend. Tigger was sixteen and becoming really sick. Tigger had cancer and ended up passing away.

My whole family was feeling down because there was a piece of our heart missing. I became very lonely but at the same time I kind of liked being the only cat. I was very spoiled and was getting all of the attention, but that didn't last long.

My family went and rescued a cat that was identical to Tigger and to this day we say she is a reincarnation of him. Her name was Khloe and she became my best friend. I was so happy she was a girl because we got along so good.

Anywhere I went, Khloe always had to be right next to me. I thought of her as my little shadow because she was always wanted to do what I was doing. I wasn't always the happiest when she would copy everything I did.
