Once upon a time, there was a cat named Squiggy. 

Squiggy was a very curious cat who loved to explore the world around him. 

He had pointy bat-like ears and yellowish green eyes with fur as dark as the midnight sky.

He loved to spend the rainy days curled up with his mama and his sunny days chasing after his brothers and sisters as they would get into all kinds of trouble.

One day he decided to go out on his own and while he was running around a yard he looked up and saw a tiny kitten stuck on a branch. Squiggy knew he had to help the kitten, so he climbed up the tree and rescued her.

The kitten was very grateful to Squiggy and asked if she could come home with him. Squiggy agreed, and the two of them became fast friends. 

So Squiggy took the tiny kitten home with him and they spent their days playing and exploring together, and Squiggy taught the kitten everything he knew about the world.

Squiggys entire family adored the kitten and his mama loved her like she was her very own. She vowed to carry on his legacy and help other animals in need, just like Squiggy had helped her.

As the years went by, Squiggy grew old and his brothers and sisters eventually moved away . This sadden both the kitten and Squiggy ,but they still had each other and their mama.
