Good morning! It's time to wake up! What will I do today?
First, I will get out of bed and have something to eat.
4 year old children are starting to understand the concept of time. When children have a predictable schedule, they will know when it is time for things like meals.
After I am finished with breakfast, I will get ready for the day. I picked out my own clothes to wear.
4 year old children can understand the idea of "same" and "different" like shoes. When children understand that their shoes should be the same, they can choose matching shoes on their own.
Next, I will walk with my mommy and daddy to the park. We like to talk when we walk.
4-year-olds can tell simple stories. While walking to the park this child will likely engage her parents in a simple conversation or tell a story about something that happened to her recently.
We meet new people at the park. I like to meet new people when mommy says it's okay.
4-year-olds can say their first and last name. This skill is important in case they get separated from their caregiver. Teaching children information about themselves can help them feel confident.
I had so much fun, but now I need to rest. I think I will take a nap.
I am so hungry! Mommy says I need to eat five raspberries.
4-year-old children understand the idea of counting. Parents can get children used to hearing and using numbers by incorporating them into daily activities.
