1929- The stock market crash did not affect my job and I was able to provide for my family because working for the government is insulated from economic down turns.

The spread of poverty has made my job a lot harder however, people are starting to commit more crimes and are getting desperate.

Being a police officer in Chicago was very hard due to the increase of crime and violence. My biggest accomplishment however was arresting the legendary mobster Al Capone.

Roosevelt getting elected did not effect my life because everything he tried to do was help people without jobs and I already had one.

The CCC program made crime go down a ton because it helped with the decline in poverty and created jobs for people which made crime go down.
The SSA act helped me after I retired so I could still provide for my family afterwards.
However the AAA act did not affect me.

Other causes to the Great Depression besides the Stock Market Crash was the banks running out of money, the gold standard, and the decreased international lending and tariffs.

The rural economy was very bad during the Great Depression due to the Dust Bowl which destroyed a lot of crops and soil.
The urban economy was also very bad because they depended heavy on trade and were not able to because of the stock market crash because it caused high unemployment.

The morals were changed in the country during this time because people started to focus on what they need and not what they want. I also started to focus more on the needs just in case.
