Primaries are private elections in which voters
choose officials for public office.
Caucuses are private events as well but they
are ran solely by the states. These are also for
voting for public officials. Very few states have
caucuses though.

Delegates are chosen at the primaries and
caucuses. These delegates are chosen based on
the preference of the people. They are also chosen
based on population. Each state is rewarded a
certain number of delegates. These delegated are
sent to the party's national convention. This is how
the presidential candidate for each party is formally
nominated.
Batman was doing a great job by
showing that he is what this country
really needs. A HERO. By winning the
primaries, he also won the vote of the
delegates. So Batman is now the
presidential nominee for the
Republican Party!
Batman used the "rally the base" strategy because he loves enthusiasm and
bringing everyone together!

The convention is when the candidate representing
a party for president is formally chosen. The
convention also allows the candidates to discuss
the party's platform and prepare for debates. There
are also many speeches and prayer done during
the conventions.

Robin
Batman's convention was epic. Batman and his Vice
President choice, Robin, discussed their platform, which is
pretty much to save America one city at a time with their
awesome hero skills. These skills would create a better
economy, better health care, and NO CRIMINALS. Batman
also admitted that he would give up chasing the Joker just
to save America. Batman said that he chose Robin because
he is very experienced when it comes to leading and doing
what is best for others. Batman is also going to make sure
everyone is paying taxes and he will create a large army to
protect us from evil. He is also going to make sure every
citizen is taken care of and treated equally.

There are limitations when it comes to campaign finance, but
each candidate spends an abundance of money. There is a
matching program for the first $250 of individual contribution.
There are also PACs which raise astronomical amounts of
money. 527 groups are also money givers except these groups
are not regulated under state or federal campaign finance laws
and that is because they don't really express who they want to
win or not. 527 groups are tax exempt organizations. In 2008
nearly 3 billion dollars were spent on presidential
campaigns...and we are trillions of dollars in debt..makes
sense right?

Batman did not spend much money in this
campaign. He believes that the money
spent on campaigns could be used
elsewhere. Batman spent his own
personal money when needed, but he
mainly used what he already had because
he is a billionaire. Most people believe
that the candidate that spends the most
will win, but Batman wants to prove them
wrong. Batman spent the minimal amount
in each state, but he believes he will win
because of his great platform and
popularity.
