It had been a perfect day before disaster struck. The sun was out and shining bright as I played in the yard.

But all of a sudden, I started to feel weird. I began to start feeling scared and zoning out.

Next thing I knew, I was in a hospital. I had no idea what happened. My parents were next to my bed, looking down at me worriedly.

The doctors came in and started asking about what I remembered. They said they were going to run some tests and then be right back to help.

After anxiously waiting for hours, the doctors came back with the results. They told us that I have Epilepsy, a brain problem.

They explained that Epilepsy affects the Central Nervous System by getting in the way of brain messages. This causes a seizure.

They asked my parents what they want to do to help: medicine or surgery. My parents decided medicine was the best way to go.
