in Peru, the city of Lima there lived a 17 year-old girl Juliane Koepcke. she used to live with her mother. her father works at the research center of the Amazon rain forest. on December 23rd 1971 Juliane completed her schooling.she and her mother wanted to join her father at the research center. Juliane and her mother were eager to leave Lima . Juliane was very excited to see her father as soon as possible.

as it is holiday season all flights were booked.there only option was airline Lansa which already had 2 crashes in it's report. however, they booked the only empty seats for Lansa 508 not worrying, considering the 1 hour short duration flight. but after they purchased the ticket, they have to wait for 7 hours because the flight is delayed due to bad weather.

finally, the plane took off in the afternoon on December 24th. At first, everything was clear. soon the clouds were getting darker and darker and the turbulence got worse. Naturally, Juliane felt anxious and nervous just like other passengers. She felt that something was definitely wrong. The flight was at the height of 21,000 ft and the plane got caught in the middle of a storm with constant thunder and lightening.

suddenly the plane started jumping up and down and all the luggage were falling down from the lockers and flying around in the cabin. Juliane didn't know what to do, she held her mother's hands tightly.

Juliane was shocked when she saw a bolt of lightening struck the plane and now the fuel tank is damaged and one of the plane's wings was broken off. Juliane felt very scared and didn't know what to do

before Juliane could understand anything the cabin began to tear in pieces.She scrapped to her seat and hanged head over heal and went on from a 10,000 feet free fall from the sky.

The only sound Juliane could hear is whispering of the wind from the fans of the Aeroplane. She didn't remember anything which happened with her. Unbelievably she survived the air crash. that's a real miracle. for the next 24 hours she fell unconscious and after she woke up she called out for her mother, then she remembered of the air crash and is alone in the middle of the jungle.
