Hi!

Welcome to our book. Ever since we have been tiny, our mama has read us stories and our daddy takes us on dream adventures. And we love making up our own stories. My little sister, Shivani, loves drawing and arts. And I, Rishi, love creating things on the computer. So my mama said: "Why don't you make stories on the computer together?". And that is how it all started. We hope you enjoy the story.

Anna and Arjan were best friends. They had gone to nursery together and now they were starting big school together. Arjan was a little shy sometimes but Anna would take his hand and show him where to hang his coat. They would sit together during circle time, play together during play time and eat together during lunch time. Having a best friend made going to big school a little less scary and a lot of fun.

Anna loved drawing and each day she would draw pictures for Arjan, showing them together with flowers and hearts and butterflies. Arjan liked the pictures very much but Arjan did not want to draw all the time.

Sometimes Arjan wanted to play with the animals, in the home corner or just be alone. This made Anna cross. She loved Arjan so much and was always his best friend and always made drawings for him. She got cross when he did not want to play with her. When Anna got cross she felt lots of angries coming inside her and then one time she hurt Arjan. She squeezed his arms and hit him on the head. Then she shouted: “Why you don’t want to play with me?!” Arjan told the teachers that Anna had hurt him. And the teachers said that maybe Arjan could play with Goldie.

Anna felt sad that she had hurt Arjan. She had really tried not to let the angries out. But she felt very shy to say sorry. Anna made a picture for Arjan to show them together as best friends. But when Anna gave the picture to Arjan he said he did not want to be friends anymore. He wanted to be only Goldie’s friend.

At home time Anna told her mama that Arjan did not want to be friends anymore and only wanted to be friends with Goldie. “Don’t worry”, said mama, “we can have lots of friends. Not only 1 friend. Tomorrow tell Arjan that all of you can be friends together”.

The next day Anna told Arjan and Goldie that they could all be friends together because everyone can have many friends. But Arjan and Goldie laughed and did not play with her.

Anna got very sad. And then she got very angry. Just like that all the angries came out of her hands again and she had hurt Arjan again. Anna did not want to hurt Arjan and she did not want to have all these angries.
