The following is a true story told for
some very special little people.
True story.

Once upon a time there lived a sweet young girl who loved life, learning, and her family. At this time, she was so excited because she was finally old enough to attend school. Her goal was to become smarter than her older sister.

This girl, however, was not perfect, just as none of us are perfect. She did not always do as she was told. She was young, so she was still learning. This story is one of growth and learning, but also about the power of forgiveness and love.

The girl had a best friend who was used to breaking the rules at school. This friend enjoyed doing whatever she wanted whenever she wanted to do it. The little girl admired her for this, but also knew she could never be like that.
Because she wanted to become smarter than her older sister, up until this day in the middle of the school year, the little girl had never been in trouble while at school.

On this day in kindergarten, the little girl's best friend asked her, while the teacher was speaking, what she wanted to play while at recess. The little girl knew that she would get in trouble for talking if she answered, so she tried to ignore her friend.
The friend would not be ignored and asked again. This time, the little girl gave in to her desire to talk to her friend and answered. It was right at this time that the teacher turned around and saw the little girl whispering.

The teacher sternly warned, "I need you to listen. Please stop talking, so that you know how to do this."
The little girl was embarrassed. However...

...as soon as the teacher's back was turned the little girl decided to continue talking with her friend.
