Around the roaring twenties, 1929

The roaring twenties, was clear skies of blue

But no one knew what they would live through.

The stock market, was skyrocketing

Money was flowing and the wind was blowing

But one day, blue as no other

The great big stock market had a great crash.

No one was ready, no one could for see

The fortune we lost, and that good things come with a fee.

People were poor and living on the street

No money, no jobs, and the inability to make ends meet

But that's the story we all know

Making the cities cold as snow

But you know who suffered as well?

The farmers and fields, were deep in a scare.

After World War One overproduction became an affair

Drought and inability to continue work was stuck in the air

In order to help the USA had to think quick

These new deal acts promised to help create a fix

The FSA, the AAA, the REA and the TVA

All came to help, in hopes to save the day.
