Jackie was born in Cairo, Georgia and grew up there until he was a child his dad had left him, his mom, and his siblings.
Late after their dad /husband had left them they moved to Pasadena, California.

Jackie Robinson's childhood was good but it was also troubled and I will tell you why!
Jackie Robinson had a good but troubled childhood, his dad left them when he was younger, and his mother also raised him and his siblings alone for a long time.
Soon after his father left them they moved to California , and he excelled in many sports.
Jackie had little friends because he was to busy with life and sports.

Jackie Robinson was famous for breaking the "color barrier" in modern era sports.
Jackie Robinson was famous for being the first black man to play major league baseball since 1900

Jackie went to The University Of California, and Pasadena City College.
He also went to Washington STEAM Multitilliangual Acadamy, and John Muir Techinical High School.
He studied sports when he was in school. He excelled in Baseball, Football, Track, and Basketball.

Jackie Robinson had many significant life events such as: 1942 Jackie joined the army and fought in World War 2, 1945 Jackie joined the Kansas city monarchs baseball league. 1946 Jackie was the first African American to be in a major baseball league, 1949 Jackie played in the All Stars, 1957 Jackie retired from baseball, 1962 hall of fame, 1972 Jackie died at age 53 years old, 2004 Jackie Robinson Day (There were several movies and a book about himself.)
