Meet this water drop.

His name is Drips. 

Drips lives in 

this lake. 

You can't see him, though. 

There are so many water drops 

like him that he just blends in 

to create the lake.

Drips has a very busy life, and 

it consists of the same routine 

everyday. 

First, his 

friend the 

sun shines 

his ray on 

Drips. 

His rays eventually 

make Drips heat up. 

Once this happens, 

Drips changes his 

state of matter. 

When he changes states, 

he is evaporating. This 

simply means that he's 

changing from water to 

steam.

Evaporating is simple. All 

Drips does is make his 

way from the lake, up to 

the sky. 

Eventually, Drips's friends will join 

him up in the cloud. When they're 

up there, they will change back into 

the water state, and sometimes 

even freeze from the lower 

temperatures. This is called 

condensation.

This will make the 

cloud heavier...

...and heavier...
