The Fossil Record: It is a collection of fossils that we can use to tell how life was like in prehistoric times. The fossil record tells us that organisms became more complex over time, species can change over time, and that eventually, every species will go extinct at some point in time.

Extinction: I am doing the Cretaceous- Paleogene Extinction event. This event killed over 3/4 of the total life on Earth. The Tryannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, and Spineosaurus are a few examples of species that went extinct. This is the extinction event that most people think of when we talk about the extinction of the dinosaurs.
