When they got back to Balo's school, the teacher told him not to wander off.

"I'm sorry. I understand," Balo replied.

Balo and Ellie scurried to Balo's closest friends. The school was having free-time, so Balo introduced them to Ellie.

"Hey, everyone! This is Ellie. She lives down here and wants to make friends! Ellie, this is Snap, Jewel, and Shimmer."

Ellie grinned. "Hi, guys!"
Balo's friends all looked at each other. It was clear they did not want to be friends with the new jelly.

"You don't look like us. We don't want to be friends with you," Snap said.

Ellie started to cry and went away. Balo followed her.
"I'm sorry, Ellie. Don't be sad. My friends should not have said that. It wasn't right."

Ellie sniffled. "You really mean that?"
"Yes, of course I do," Balo reassured her. Balo and Ellie swam back to the rest of Balo's school and played together.
