In the middle of the sparkling blue ocean, there is eTwinningland, a small fish-shaped island. The island is amazing and looks like a paradise!

it is full of lush vegetation, trees and flowers are everywhere and all kinds of animals live there. The eTwinningland is also full of streams with a lot of fish. The “Rainbow Fish” is a protected species and a typical fish of the island.

The eTwinnish are the inhabitants of this place. They are a mixed-race population, the colour of their skin is different, they are quite short (about 1 meter 50 tall), but very agile and smart.

They live peacefully and every day they take care of their island. They lead a simple and healthy life; fish is their staple food.

One day, Emily and Tom, two eTwinnish 12-year-old best friends, are getting home from school; while they are on their way home, they decide to have a walk on the beach and go for a dive in the ocean before lunch. When they arrive there they start to feel bad and there’s something strange in the air.

The plants are dry, the animals suffer from heat and thirst, but what is worse, they notice that among the rocks, the sand is covered with many dead fish, too many to count. They notice that it is exceptionally hot. Emily takes the thermometer from her inseparable tool kit and sees that the temperature has reached 65°. Emily says: “It’s impossible!”. Tom asks: “What’s going on?”

Shocked by what they see, they immediately run to alert the leader of the E-Twinnish about what they have discovered. However, since they have the reputation of being two little “pranksters” , the leader doesn’t give importance to their story.

Emily and Tom, after their leader's reaction, run all over the island looking for someone willing to believe them, but no way/without success!

It is now evening and the two are sitting on the cliffs, trying to find a solution and an explanation to that absurd situation. Suddenly, they hear someone tapping on their back.

They turn around  and see a strange creature. It has got the body of an enormous cat , the gills of a fish and the wings of a seagull.

They have never seen something like that in their life so they turn pale  and petrified.

The strange creature starts talking in a different language , but that’s incredible: Tom and Emily understand everything it says. The creature says: < Don’t be frightened of me! I’m here to help you .There’s no  time to waste! >.

Emily and Tom were astonished ,they didn't know what to do but they felt that their homeland was in danger, something terrible was happening around them. The strange creature started to talk : My name is Gaol 131415, I'm the last of dying breed , I live below the water but the ocean is in danger, sea animals are dying from plastic ,million of plastic entered in the Ocean, there is no much time to save our planet and the life below the water and on the land . You are the only one that can avert a global catastrophe. Our beautiful Home is suffering the climate change .Emily and Tom decided to believe the strange creature and took him to the E-Twinnish leader, a surprise was waiting for them ...
