Romania Festivals



Actually, there are two festivals :

1- Winter Festivals

2- Spring Festivals

Winter festivals are

finto - opens with a Winter Festival in Gheorghe. Participants compete in winter sports and of course contribute to the excitement, the interpretation of cheerful folk songs and the magnificent performance of fiery dances.

Winter holidays are celebrated in Romania from 24 December to 7 January. The majority of the population is very concerned about the approach of a New Year; Some residents of the country refer to it as a "little Christmas".

Traditionally, a large table full of meat dishes cooked according the national repices preaped in new year. Romanians favourite meals, vegetables and pancakes.

Romanians also celebrate with the joy of the arrival of spring: the national holiday in early March - the history of Evdokia dates back to paganism.
