This is Sadie and Paisley. They are the best dogs, but a lot of work too! Let me show you what I mean.

They always have to have food and water. That is the most important thing!

Sometimes, their fur gets knotted so you have to brush them out so it will be smooth and shiny again.

But! If they get all muddy, a brush won't do! They will need a bath to make them clean again.

Bath time can be chaotic, but they still need them regularly. Dogs have their own special soap, and make sure you don't get it in their eyes! That hurts!

When they are all clean, they will want to play again! Sadie and Paisley like all kinds of toys!

Sadie's favorite is a ball and Paisley likes her duck the best. Getting exercise is just as important for them as it is for us!

Another way dogs get exercise is by going on walks. To go out, they have to be on a leash and collar so they don't get lost. This is a big part of being a responsible pet owner.

After their walk, they will probably need water and want to take a nap.
