Alice goes to a tea party
The March Hare and the Hatter were sitting at a big table under a tree in front of the house. They were having tea. A dormouse was sitting between them. He was asleep.
There were many empty places at the table but when the Hatter and the Hare saw Alice, they shouted, ‘No room! No room!’
'There’s a lot of room,’ Alice said, and she chose an armchair at the top of the table.
‘Have some wine!’ the March Hare said.
‘I can’t see any wine on the table,’ Alice replied.
‘There isn't any,’ the Hare said.
‘Well, it’s rude of you to offer me some,’ Alice said, a little angrily.
‘It’s rude of you to sit down without being invited,’ the Hare answered.
‘I didn't know it was your table. There are lots of empty places,’ Alice said.

‘Yes, please do!’ Alice said.
‘And be quick! Don’t fall asleep again!’ the Hatter said.
The Dormouse began. ‘Once upon a time there were three little sisters. Their names were Elsie, Lacie and Tillie. They lived at the bottom of a well. The three little sisters were learning to draw.’
