On July, Friday 13th 2012 my uncle texted 

me and asked me if everything was ok. At 

first I didn`t know what was going on. I 

tried to call my mom but she didn`t 

answer call after call no anwser I got 

worried. I called my sister Brittani but no 

answer. Monique finally called me and let 

me talk to my mom. My mom told me 

what happened.

All I ever knew was gone. My room. My bed. 

My comfort. All gone in a few minutes. I 

wasn`t there I had been gone two weeks prior.

I was in Katy when my house caught on fire. I 

didn`t know what to do. I was broken. All I 

had left were the things I took with me when I 

went out of town. I was emotionally wrecked.

I didn`t know how to cope with this situation. 

I didn`t see my mom or sister for 3 weeks 

maybe 4 weeks. I stayed with my uncle. My 

cousins tried to cheer me up everyday but I 

wanted to see my mom.So I was kinda feeling 

lonely.
