The different ways to say hello.

Croatian:

Zdravo!   Dobar dan! Bok!

 Bog! Hvaljen Bog!

  Hvaljen Isus i Marija!        answer: Uvijeke!

Estonian:

Tere!  (Hello!, the most common way to say Hello in Estonian)

Tere hommikust! (Good morning!, formal)

Tere õhtust! (Good evening!, formal)

Jou!  (Hello!, informal)

Tšau!  (Hello!, informal) Tšauki!  (Hello, informal)

Hommikust!   (Morning!) Ilusat hommikut! (Have a nice morning!, formal)

French:

"Bonjour" the most common way

"Salut "

"Coucou"    Two ways quite familiar between friends or in the family

"Bonsoir " when we meet in the afternoon

"Namaste" because lot of inhabitants of the city are from India

Spanish:

Hola!

The other words or expressions are not really the same as "hello" but we use it in the same way:

- ¿que pasa?

- Eyyyyyyyyy.

- Holi

Polish:

Witaj!, Siema!, Cześć!, Dzień dobry!, Dobry wieczór!

Macedonian:

Здраво Добро утро Добар ден Добро вечер 

Здраво- Hello Добро утро- Good morning

Добар ден-Good afternoon Добро вечер- Good morning

Italian:

"Bonjour" "Salut " "Coucou"   "Bonsoir "  "Namaste"

Ciao ( informal most common way to say hallo)

Buongiorno ( formal it means good day used during the day)

Buonasera ( formal it means good evening used in the evening)

Salve     ( formal not common way)

Greek:

Γεια! -> gia 

Γεια σου! -> gia su (we use it when we say hello to just one person like "hello to you")

Γεια σας! -> gia sas (its formal and also is "hello to you"plural)

Γεια σε όλους! -> gia se olus = hello to everyone

Χαίρετε! -> herete (It is used as a wish. That is, you should be happy! We use it most in afternoon)

Καλημέρα! -> kalimera = good morning

Καλησπέρα! -> kalispera = good afternoon

Slovenian:

ŽIVIJO.

ZDRAVO.

Romanian:

BUNĂ!

BUNĂ ZIUA!

Portuguese:
Hello = Olá (in portuguese)

Turkish:
