
About the Authors
All of the authors (Brinlee Bowen, Sydney Cox, and Jules Timmons) go to Frederick Douglass Highschool and are very interested in the Immune System. Brinlee Bowen is especially interested in the Lymphatic System and how the Lymph nodes within this system trap microbes. Sydney Cox is very interested in all of the Lines of Defense for the Immune system, and Jules Timmons is especially interested in the role mucus plays for the Immune System.
Today is a very special day in the third grade class. All of the students are traveling to a new part of the human body. Their teacher, Mrs. Liz, will be leading the students throughout the Immune System.
Good morning class! Today we are going on a field trip to the Immune System!
