Butterfly Jency

Jency was a beautiful butterfly. Jency had such beautiful colors bright orange and yellow . She really stood out from the bunch. Jency had no friends because she was different then all the other butterflies in her group.

Jency was always alone. She would hide from anyone who would come near where she lived. She didn't want anyone to stop and stare or tell her hurtful things.

One day Jency heard a cry from outside her window. She looked out and saw a bird it looked hurt.

Are you okay? she asked the bird.

No, the bird replied. I hurt my wing ,I can't move it. Jency helped the bird into her home and laid the bird down on the couch.

My name is Jency. What about you?

I'm Birlette, the bird replied. Wow you are beautiful! I've never seen a butterfly with such beautiful bright colors. Really?! Thank you said Jency.

I've never been told i was beautiful before. Really replied Birlette . I've only had hurtful things said about me. I'm sorry Birlette told Jency. Jency cleaned Birlette's wound and wrapped it up. Why don't you get some rest while I make you some soup Jency told Birlette. Why thank you soo much. You are very kind.

Birlette fell asleep as Jency headed towards the kitchen to make Birlette some soup.

Jency heard a chirp. Birlette has woken up. Jency fed Birlette her soup. Do you have any family? Jency asked Birlette. Yes I do Birlette replied. My mom, it's just her and I. I bet she must be worried, I'm never out this long. I will go find your mom. Really?! asked Birlette. Of course I would. You just rest and heal I'll be back soon.
