This is a story about how I chose to be an education major.

It all started when I was a kid. I would play teacher in my room and my stuffed animals would be my students.

I would give them work sheets and quizzes, then act like I was grading them when “class was over”.

As I got farther into school as a child, I realized that whenever my friend needed help on an assignment, I would actually enjoy helping them.

I loved the idea of helping my friends in school and that is when I started saying “I want to be a teacher when I grow up.”

Later in elementary school I started to realize that I was really good at math. Then other students started to notice too. 

And whenever there was group assignments or partner work other students wanted to work with me because I was good at math.

Flash forward to when I am 14 and about to start high school. I went to a magnet middle school, so I also planed on going to a magnet high school. 

While looking at the different options, I found Blake high school.
