Since Mike was a little child, he always had this desire of traveling around the world. He was fascinated by how different the cultures of each country could be, but never had the opportunity to actually know them in person. Finally, at his 27 years of life, he was watching through the window of the plane, with enough money and independence to make his dream come true.

Mike was all by himself. According to him, this is the best way to fully enjoy a trip, even though he has zero experience in traveling, and only knows one language... maybe it wasn't a brilliant idea to travel alone.

The plane arrived at night, in some European or Asian country which name Mike couldn't even pronounce right, and had zero knowledge about, he just knew he wanted to go to a far away place, where he can go anywhere he wants for the next 3 months, even though he had no idea where he was. He started walking around the airport looking for the exit and noticed everything was written in some weird language with strange characters he couldn't even recognize. He had to admit that scared him a little bit, but he was American, a native english speaker, and everyone knows english, right? It'll be fine...

It was past 5 AM when he finally found a taxi. He smiled politely to the driver and ask him if he could get him to the nearest hotel. The driver looked at him with a clear confusion in his face and started speaking to him in this weird language... Oh no. He tried to communicate with the driver, pronouncing every letter of the word "hotel" like he was speaking to a baby.

The driver, who was already pretty annoyed by this weird man, just denied and drove away, he had better things to do. Mike just stood there, unable to communicate with anyone.

That's when he really started panicking

He tried to speak with every single person who passed by, none of them understanding a thing he said. How was even possible that absolutely no one knows english? He was at an airport! it was ridiculous! And he was not used to being alone, he was always with some company, and now, the first time he was outside his native country, he didn't even know at what continent he was. He just sighed, and went back to the airport to buy tickets back to his country. He had a whole life to travel in the future, right? He promised himself he was going to learn that new, weird language... or at least learn its name
