Football has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up around the game as my dad was a high school coach.

Throughout elementary and middle school I played the game organized and for fun every chance I could get. I began to dream of playing on the college stage.

In high school, I had the chance to play with my brother and be coached by my dad, my best football memories. Luckily I played well and began to get noticed.

My sophomore year, I was an all state corner. I had no offers to college yet, But I thought some may come in the spring.

When the spring came around, I landed my first offer. It was Troy University, where my brother already played a s a receiver. I was very excited and it is a day I will always remember.

At spring practice, there was coaches there to watch me perform daily. It was sort of stressful, but drove me to work hard every day.

I had double digit offers two weeks into the spring, but I had none from power five schools. University of Florida was one of the major schools that came to watch me.

The day after the spring game, I got a call from UF saying that they wanted me to come meet with the head coach.
