Uthman Ibn Affan was born in c 579 in Taif Arabia

His father was Affan ibn Abu al As and mother was Urwa bint Kariz

He was the fourth men to accept Islam

Uthman bin Affan was a wealthy person

he was the third rightly guided Caliphs of Islam

His temperament was gentle and bashful, generous and modest .

He was a cloth merchant and married two daughters of the Prophet Muhammad SAW Rukaiyaah and after her death he married Umm Kulthum, as a result he gained the title Dhu Al nurain meaning one with two lights.
