          Roman Catholics Avishi

Back when the colonies were created, the Roman Catholics in England were still receiving bad treatment. Cecil Calvert, an English nobleman, wanted to make a safe place for all Roman Catholics. In 1632, he established Maryland, and made sure that it was that safe place for Roman Catholics to practice their religion without oppression.

Virginia House of burgesses 1619 Jayden Vidal

 The Virginia House of Burgesses was the colonies first elected legislative body. It held its first meeting on July 30th, 1619 in Jamestown, Virginia. They included two people from the 11 settlements at that time. Also this group included George Yeardley who if you did not know he elected himself governor. also creating this group was one of the first steps to democracy during colonial times that's all I have to say.

The Stono Rebellion took place on Stono river, and began on the 9th of September 1739.  The leader of this was an Angolan who's name was jemmy. Their reason was for them and fellow slaves freedom .
