Billy Was Walking home when he saw a nice mirror sitting on the ground.

After setting up his new mirror Billy stopped to look at himself.

Billy noticed that one side of him was shorter than the other so he told his mom and dad. And they set up an appointment with his doctor.

Billy's Doctor explained that he had a minor skeletal system disorder called Scoliosis.

Billy was shocked and asked "What does that mean"

The doctor explained "This disorder causes your spine to be crooked and is hard on the rest of the body"

"How do you know I have it" Billy asked.

"Because your shoulders and hips are uneven" the doctor told him.

"How did I get it" Billy asked.

"Don't worry Billy you can't give it to anyone, you were born with it" The doctor replied.

"How do I fix it doc" Billy asked with concern.

"Well Billy, you are very lucky and don't require treatment, but if you did you would need surgery and a back brace" The doctor said.

"You don't need to worry Billy you will live  a long happy and healthy life" Said the doctor.

"What if I needed treatment and I didn't do it" Billy asked.
