Tommy was new to the dog park and eager to make friends! 

He tried to be friends with every pup in the park, but they all ran away with fear.

This made Tommy really sad. He couldn't figure out why all the other dogs were scared of him when he hadn't done anything to make them feel that way.

Tommy finally met a pup named Polly, and she didn't seem to be scared of him at all!

Tommy asked Polly if she knew why all the other dogs were scared of him. Polly said that because of the type of dog he was they just assumed he was a very mean dog.
