Hello, my name is 

Droplet and I am a 

World Traveler!

I have many water 

molecule friends, and we 

like to hang out together! 

Right now we're in the 

Ocean!

We like to travel a lot and  

our travels can start from 

anywhere. Today we are starting 

in the ocean and then traveling to 

the atmosphere thanks to our 

friend Evaporation.

Evaporation is best friends 

with the sun. When the sun 

shines us Water Molecules 

travel with Evaporation to 

meet the sun in the 

atmosphere.

On our way to the 

atmosphere we pick up our 

water molecule friends 

hanging out on the tree. 

They Transpire and we 

Evaporate!

Thanks to Evaporation 

we arrive in the 

atmosphere where we like 

to hang out, or 

Condense, in the cloud.

Sometimes when there are 

too many of us water 

molecules in the cloud we 

decide to Precipitate and 

fall back down to earth.
