Our ears help us hear the world around us. Without our ears we wouldn't hear music or when someone says a funny joke.

  Hearing

I can hear the birds chirping in the trees!

   Sight

Our eyes help us in so many ways. Our eyes help us to read and to see the world around us.

At the beach my eyes help me see the sun up in the sky and the fish swimming in the water.

   Smell

Our nose helps us smell yummy treats or stinky feet. Pee-ew!

Yumm! I smell freshly baked muffins.

  Taste

We taste with our tongue. The taste buds on our tongue tell us what foods we like. Not everyone likes the same foods.

Others taste salty.

Some things taste sweet.

   Touch

We touch with our hands. Touch helps us learn if something is hot or cold, wet or dry, rough or smooth, hard or soft.
