that you might not know.

Did you know

that most of the

Earth is made up

of water? That is

why it is called

the "blue

planet."

Even with all of

that water, less

fresh water that

we can drink.

has the third most amount
of fresh water in the world?

Let's start saving water. It doesn't
take much, little changes every
day can make a difference.

When I brush my teeth
before school, I always
turn off the water instead
of letting it run.

Did you know that you waste water
when you let the sink run while
brushing your teeth?

Activity
Do you know how much water you waste
when you brush your teeth? Let's find out.
When you brush your teeth, get an adult to
plug the sink. Leave the water running while
you brush. When you are finished, look at
how much water could have been saved if
you would have turned off the tap.

Did you know a
shower uses
less than half the
amount of water a
bath does? That's
why I take showers.

This is my favorite
t-shirt. It is from
a used clothing store.

Did you know most shirts are made from
cotton? Cotton plants are very thirsty. It
takes 25 bathtubs full of water to make
just one shirt.

When you get a rip in your shirt, ask an
adult to sew on a patch.

Then keep on wearing it.
