What is the weather like today?

The weather changes everyday and it's different from place to place.

What exactly is weather?

Weather is the condition of the air, or the atmosphere on our planet.

 There are certain factors that can change the atmosphere in a certain area. Together they determine what the weather will be like. These factors include: Temperature, Humidity, Wind Speed and Direction. 

Where does weather come from?

Weather comes from the sky above us. The three main components of weather are the Sun, air and water. The suns heat warms the air to different temperature levels in different places. 

Rain

A form of precipitation:

Water that falls from the sky.

It happens when droplets of water in the clouds or sometimes ice crystals get heavy enough and fall to the ground.

Snow

Snow is another form of precipitation. 

Soft white pieces of frozen water that fall from the sky.
