sad river

The story goes that on a small island in the sea, located near the mouth of a small river that increased its flow every year in the season of the celebration of Mother's Day and the people of that island did not know why.

All the villagers whispered that story. A young man named Baltasar listened and decided on Mother's Day to go to that island to find out what was happening.

Upon reaching the island, he observed a river shining on the horizon, Baltasar followed the path of the river to see where it came from. And he discovered a girl at the source of the river; who wept so bitterly that with her tears they formed the river. Baltasar was filled with feeling and asked him why your sadness?

The girl with a tremulous voice told Baltasar that she was very alone on the island; since her mother had disappeared and she did not feel any love.

Amazed, Baltasar told him that he was going to introduce him to a friend so that she could give love to his heart. Baltasar quickly went to town and on a hill there was a small but very nice and cozy house, a house where the love of God was felt and where a little nun known as Sister Encarnación lived. Baltasar asks for your help!

Sister Encarnación answered Baltasar's call and went with him to the small island, and made the girl know the great love that God has for her and for all of us. Hearing these beautiful words, the girl stops crying and the river calms its tributary, immediately everything around the river blooms, and the forest becomes much greener.
