Dalia was a girl who lived in the kingdom of Agrabah. She loved her kingdom, but ever since Jafar became the royal advisor, Agrabah's subjects were suffering.

Everyday Dalia would gaze at the palace and wonder why the princess, Jasmine and her father lived so lavishly while she was starving and didn't have a real home.

One day, Dalia noticed a beautiful girl walk into the marketplace. Her expensive clothing and jewelry made it clear that she was not from Dalia's village.

The girl seemed very interested in Dalia's village. She asked Dalia many questions, and Dalia was able to inform her about the poverty and starvation in her village.

The girl was hungry, so she and Dalia went back to the vendors. The girl grabbed an apple from one of the carts. The vendor was angry. Before Dalia could tell the girl that she needed to pay, Aladdin, the village thief, came to the rescue.

Dalia trailed behind Aladdin and the girl because she realized that she hadn't even asked what her new friend's name was.
