Finch knew he only had one choice to be safe and that was to live with Kaeden. He could not stay in the wild since he was a house dog and he had to live with someone that he knew would not tell scientists about his special powers, but he did not know if Kaeden would want him to live at his home.

I think we should make our way back into the city to see if there is anywhere I can sleep for the night.

Kaeden felt bad that Finch would have to sleep outside, but did not know if his parents would let him bring home a dog. They started walking towards the city and decided to start talking.
